Meet the Doctors

DR. GREG DOBSON
I have been in practice here in Durand since August of 1982. I spent two years interning with three other very successful clinics prior to opening my own office to gain valuable clinical experience. I have thoroughly enjoyed serving the people of this area. Durand has been a great place to practice.
I grew up in Georgia and attended Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia. I attend numerous post graduate courses every year to keep up with the latest developments in our profession so I can give my patients the very best care possible.
I have had several other chiropractors work with me in my office to help them gain valuable experience and additional training. It has been rewarding to share my knowledge and experience with other doctors to help them advance in their careers. We have a Christian atmosphere in my office with very profesional, friendly, and caring staff. We believe in treating each patient with the utmost courtesy and respect. We feel your time is valuable as ours, so we strive to have very little to no waiting time for our patients.
I am married with eight children, so the home life is a bit busy to say the least. I enjoy 4-wheeling, waverunners, and just being outdoors enjoying nature. I look forward to meeting each of you and being able to help you achieve your health goals.

DR. PARTRIDGE
A native of Illinois and the 2nd of 3 brothers, Dr. Partridge grew up in the farming town of Kewane. While his brothers pursued careers in Law and Computer Programming, Dr. Partridge initialy went into Electronic Engineering, taking courses at DeVry Institute in Chicago. He served a tour of duty in the Air Force during the Vietnam Era attaining the rank of Staff Sargent. It was during this time that he met and married his wife, Ann, in Chicago. They have been married 35 years now with five children and eleven grandchildren.

After his Honorable Discharge, the Partridge's moved to Arizona to continue his electronics career. It was here that after a life time of chronic back pain, he finally went to a Chiropractor and was accurately diagnosed with a subluxation and pinched nerve. In very short order he was pain free for the first time in many years.

About this time Dr. Partridge met another veteran who had his migraine headaches cured through Chiropractic and had decided to go to Chiropractic school himself. This struck a responsive chord in Dr. Partridge and with the tremendous support of his wife and children, he enrolled in college again, He completed the 2yr pre-med curricullum in 18 months, making the Dean's List. He continued on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from what would become Life University near Atlanta, Georgia.

The Partridge's returned to Arizona to open their first practice and raise a family. But, there was always a deep feeling that they would one day return to the midwest to be nearer their roots. That opportunity came in the summer of 1998 when he was asked to move to Michigan and join up with an old friend in Burton who needed help while he recovered from surgery. With all of the kids raised and out of the house, Dr. Partridge and Ann pulled up stakes and moved to Flint were he now splits his time between his Burton office and his Durand practice with Dr. Dobson.

In addition to giving traditional chiropractic adjustments, Dr. Partridge is one of a handfull of chiropractors certified in Bio-Cranial technique (BCT). BCT is a gentle yet very effective treatment for many longstanding difficult conditions. More detailed information can be found at: http://www.biocranial.com
